Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
• CA (Advance Level)/CMA/ACCA (Qualified or Partly Qualified).

Experience

• 10 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, Trading or Export/Import

Responsibilities & Context

• Oversee and manage the overall accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) in compliance with applicable accounting standards and Bangladesh regulations.
• Manage VAT, Tax, and regulatory compliance as per National Board of Revenue (NBR) guidelines, including return submission, audit support, and documentation.
• Supervise daily financial transactions within ERP/POS/Accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and proper system control.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial planning to ensure optimal fund utilization and business sustainability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports, providing actionable insights to management.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Operations, IT) to ensure proper financial control over software implementation, subscriptions, and revenue recognition (SaaS model if applicable).
• Develop and implement internal control policies, SOPs, and financial procedures to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
• Handle external audits, internal audits, and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure proper revenue tracking from software licenses, subscriptions, AMC/support contracts, and project-based billing.
• Manage payroll processing, employee benefits, and statutory deductions in compliance with labor laws.
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management for cost control and profitability improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team, ensuring a high level of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.
